Since Hill Drive — a quiet, residential street — is an alternate route to our sometimes-crowded main drag, people tend to speed on it, endangering pedestrians, cats and wildlife. So I took this photo to make a point about the speed limit.

25 miles per hour is on the slow side but I understand why it’s made so based on what you wrote about Hill Drive being conceived as a quiet, residential street rather than a main drag. 🙂
It’s a beautiful, curving street, with some of the most expensive, vintage homes in our area – it’s meant to be appreciated, not rushed through! 🙂
