In southern California, you can’t avoid stucco. But there is good stucco and bad stucco. Bad stucco is the texture coating that was unfortunately popular in the 1970s, and which ruined countless classic craftsman homes. But for good stucco, look no further than Curve Line Space, an art gallery and frame shop on Colorado. The storefront has just the right amount of texture, and the color is a pleasant urban earthiness. I could not resist adding a filter to the photo to enhance the texture even further.
